Superb front line workers here: the mainstay of the hospitality industry. . Room spotless . Breakfast really well done and varied. Couple of things set it rated high. The front desk were informative, helpful and knowledgeable. In particular Rececao got a taxi for me while I was stuck at the airport on a Sunday. Very helpful and much appreciated. Plus the manager sent me an email a couple of days earlier asking if I needed anything and a few things about the hotel. I have never received that in 70 + years of travel. It was superbly helpful. Every hotel of worth should do it as it demonstrates a great commitment. The location is easy for the town and ferry as a short cut. Beautiful gardens. A well run hotel.

We had a good stay. The rooms are a bit old and in need of renovation. The air con is old and noisy and our room didn't have a balcony which we missed. The breakfast was really good and we enjoyed it. The dinner buffet was pretty bad to be honest and it was overpriced for the quality. 21 euros and was not interesting, fresh or anything. The reception was helpful though. Would recommend to stay here but it's overpriced for what you get and it definitely didn't feel like a 4 star resort.

A little corner of paradise to languidly frequent! The establishment is located in the middle of a green space with private parking for all, the services are those of a real 4-star hotel, and you can reach the port in a few minutes on foot (to go up, it's longer :p) The rooms are clean and spacious, a nice terrace with a view of Mount Pico. The staff are pleasant. Congratulations to the whole team !

Very, very poor tatty room. Not as expected. Location of room too far to walk in pouring rain with howling wind as it has been all day. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. VERY GRUBBY AT EDGES AND DARK, SMELLY ROOM. Would change but hotel full and what would they offer !!!
